New Steps to Set Up Sell.Do Offline Dialer on Your Device

Follow the steps below to configure and activate the Sell.Do Offline Dialer on your mobile device for seamless calling and CRM synchronization.

  1. Open the Google Play Store and search for “Sell.Do Dialer.”

  2. Install Selldo Dialer Application and then once installed open it

  3. After opening the application, when prompted to set Sell.Do Dialer as your default dialer, tap on the “Cancel” button.

  4. After tapping the “Cancel” button, the next screen will appear requesting various permissions. Please allow all the required permissions for each section. Once all permissions are granted, their indicators will turn green.

  5. Once all permissions are granted and the sections turn green, tap on the “Sign In” button.

  6. Enter your credentials (email and password) and tap on the “Sign In” button. Once signed in, the app will open the Call Logs screen and automatically sync the most recent 100 calls with the system.

  7. If you want to verify that all settings have been configured correctly, tap on the Settings icon at the top of the screen.

  8. Then, tap on “Check & Validate Permission.” This option allows you to confirm that all required permissions have been granted and the setup is completed correctly. Make sure all indicators turn green, as shown in the screenshot below.

  9. To attach call recordings with your calls, you need to select the file path where your call recordings are stored on your device.

  10. Then, tap on “Use This Folder” and select “Allow” when the permission dialog appears. After this setup, whenever you make a call, the call details along with the call recording will automatically sync with Sell.Do.

⚠️ Important Notes

  • Recording availability depends on the device manufacturer.
Some phones (especially those using the Google Dialer) restrict access to call recordings for privacy reasons. If your device doesn’t expose the recording files, Sell.Do will not be able to sync them.

  • System vs. App-based recordings:
Only system-level recordings (those automatically saved by the phone’s default dialer) are synced. Recordings from third-party call recorder apps may not be detected if stored in private app folders.

  • Android storage restrictions:
Starting from Android 11 (API 30), Google introduced scoped storage, limiting direct file access for apps. This means that in some cases, recordings are visible only inside the Phone app and not in the file system.

  • Device variation:
Folder paths may vary slightly across models or OS updates (e.g., Call, CallRecordings, sound_recorder/call_rec, etc.). Always verify the latest path from your device’s file manager.

  • Sync recommendations:
Ensure Sell.Do has the required storage and media permissions enabled and that the recording files are stored in accessible internal storage folders before syncing.

  • When making any outgoing call, ensure that you are using your default phone dialer application and not the Sell.Do Dialer app.

  • If any call fails to sync or does not appear in the Sell.Do Dialer application, it will be automatically uploaded to the CRM every 5–15 minutes, depending on your Android device’s standard background processing policy.
